The Kiva BusinessCard is a ideal for business owners with very good credit who would love the opportunity to help business owners in developing countries.
There is no annual fee for this card and there is a 0% interest rate for balance transfers that will last for fifteen months. Once the introductory rate expires, the rate for balance transfers, purchases, and cash advances is reasonably low.
The cash back rewards program offers a minimum of .25% return up to 1% on business purchases. Cardholders can also earn bonus cash back in the following categories: gasoline and diesel fuel, computer equipment and office supplies, online advertising services, utilities and telecommunications, and charitable and social services organizations. Whenever an account has earned at least $50, cardholders will receive a $50 statement credit.
Along with the cash rebate reward program, Advanta also makes it easy to help other business owners in developing countries. Through their Matching Program, if a business submits a micro-loan grant to Kiva as a charitable donation, Advanta will match the grant up to $200 per month. Cardholders will have the option to withdraw or reinvest their donation as a grant to another business owner through Kiva in addition to receiving a 5% statement credit for having a bonus qualifying purchase.
Although this card has a lot of attractive benefits including $0 Fraud Liability protection, it is important to note that the APRs for all transactions may be tied to the highest Prime Rate during a 90-day period. Since the issuer selects the rate from any day within that time frame, the APRs may never reach the lowest possible rate due to this policy.
Business owners who may occasionally carry a balance and plan to take advantage of this card's low rates, cash rewards program, and charitable services will benefit most from what The Kiva BusinessCard has to offer.
